The 12th Annual Back-to-School Jamboree will be held at Indiana University Northwest, 3400 Broadway in the Savannah Center on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and the first 300 students will receive free back to school supplies. In addition to the 3 on 3 basketball tournament, the jambree will also feature a number of competitions for elementary, middle and high school students including video games, Double Dutch Jump Rope and fingerpainting competitions.
Trophies and other prizes will be presented to those participating in the 3 on 3 basketball competition. Registration is $30.00 per team. To register, persons should call (219) 887-2046. Registrations will also be take at Beautiful Thinks in the Village Shopping Mall. On-site registration is $45.00 per team. Persons interested in booths at the event should also call (219) 887-2046. The cost of the booth is $35.00 and $45.00 (food vendors). A table will be provided.
