JOINT DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

The City's planners are investigating combining efforts with private development in Midtown and Glen Park.

In Glen Park, the City, Indiana University Northwest, Ivy Tech, and business and community leaders will shape this partnership effort. This partnership will help develop new business opportunities, and/or expand existing businesses, along 35th Avenue and Broadway. The City has approximately $500,000.00 available to assist in development in this area, to help implement the University Park Concept Plan.

In Midtown, the focus is the business area between 13th and 15th Avenues, along Broadway. This area has seen substantial development in the last decade, and the City is in the preliminary stages of developing a method for requesting additional ideas that can be implemented with the approximately $350,000.00 available for this planning area.
