"ONE BLOCK AT A TIME"
CITY-WIDE COMMUNITY CLEAN UP, PART 3 SCHEDULED

Gary, Indiana - The City of Gary, Youth Services Bureau, in conjunction with the Gary Clean Up Committee has scheduled the "One Block At A Time" City-Wide Community Clean Up, Part 3. The event will take place on Saturday May 8, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with registration being held at 9:30 a.m. at the Hudson-Campbell Fitness Center, 455 Massachusetts Street.

FIRST ANNUAL "SPRING FOR TEENS" (SOCIAL GATHERING)

Gary, Indiana - The City of Gary, Youth Services Bureau will present its First Annual "Spring for Teens" (Social Gathering) on Friday, April 30, 2010. The event will be held at the Hudson Campbell Fitness Center, 455 Massachusetts Street, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Gary, Indiana - The 2010 Census is here! The Gary Complete Count Committee (GCCC) will host a "March to the Mailbox Parade Festival" on Saturday, April 17, to increase awareness of the importance of 2010 Census.

Gary, Indiana - Each year, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) celebrates National Fair Housing Month in April. This year's theme is Fair Housing in 2010: time to Act! The Gary Human Relations and Board of Commissioners will host a Fair Housing Community Forum on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at 839 Broadway, First Floor Conference Room, Gary, Indiana.

Gary, Indiana - All City of Gary municipal offices will be closed on Friday, April 2, 2010, in observance of the Good Friday holiday.

Regular working hours will resume on Monday, April 5.
