August 22, 2007 MAYOR'S CULTURAL ARTS & JAZZ FEST THIS WEEKEND Gary, Indiana - The City of Gary will present The Mayor's second annual Cultural Arts, Crafts & Jazz Fest in celebration of Arts Day in Gary on Sunday, August 26th. Mayor Clay announced that actor & producer, Fred "The Hammer" Williamson will be a special guest.

August 20, 2007 CITY'S ONE WEEK TIRE PROGRAM YIELDS NEARLY 3000 TIRES Gary, Indiana - Mayor Clay announced early this month the start up of a new tire program in the city that will pay Gary residents to recycle old tires. Mayor Clay said the tire program will help keep Gary clean, and allow citizens to get paid at the same time.
