MAYOR CLAY WELCOMES JOE JACKSON BACK TO GARY
.....Honorary Renaming of 2300 Jackson Street Scheduled
Gary, Indiana - Mayor Rudy Clay will welcome Joe Jackson, father of Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson and the Jackson Five back to Gary during a Roundtable Discussion at City Hall on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
A ceremony to unveil the honorary street sign renaming of 2300 Jackson Street will follow the event at City Hall. Mayor Clay will also make a special presentation to Jackson during the discussion in the Gary Room.
Joe Jackson is currently in production of a new reality show, "Meet Joe Jackson."

Gary, Indiana - Mayor Rudy Clay will hold a Press Conference Wednesday, July 2, 2008 to discuss the rehabilitation of hundreds of homes within the Gary Housing Authority.
Project managers say the project will likely result in hundreds of job opportunities.
