CITY GARY TO RECEIVE $1000,000 FROM UNITED STATES STEEL
CITY'S 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION SET

Gary, Indiana - Mayor Rudy Clay will hold a Press Conference, Monday, June 30, 2008 to announce a $100,000 donation from United States Steel Gary Works for the city's Youth Summer Work program.

The Mayor will also discuss the city's 4th of July celebration.

The Press Conference is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. in the Gary Room of City Hall.

NATIONAL AMERICORPS TEAM PARTNERS FOR SIX WEEK OF SERVICE
IN GARY CLEAN UP

Gary, Indiana - Mayor Rudy Clay will hold a Press Conference, Monday, June 16, 2008 to recognize an AmeriCorps*National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) team that has been helping the city of Gary with environmental and cleanup projects.

The Press Conference is scheduled for 12:00 noon, Monday, June 16, 2008 in the Gary Room of City Hall.

The AmeriCorps team has been working with Groundwork Gary and the city's Department of Environmental Affairs.
