Gary, Indiana - All City of Gary Municipal Offices will be closed on Monday, June 28, 2010 due to mandatory furlough day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, June 29.

Gary, Indiana - On Friday, June 25, 2010 the City of Gary, Indiana will remember its favorite son, Michael Joseph Jackson. Michael was born in Gary on August 29, 1958 where he was reared until the age of 10. June 25th marks the first anniversary of Michael’s passing.
