MAYOR CLAY: KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT ROOSEVELT'S COMMENCEMENT
Gary, Indiana - Mayor Rudy Clay will be the commencement speaker at Roosevelt Senior High School's graduation ceremonies on Wednesday, June 4, 2008.
Mayor Clay's keynote speech will focus on Roosevelt's 2008 commencement theme, "Strive For Success, Not Perfection." Mayor Clay will be robed in academic attire.
The ceremony will be held at West Side High School, 9th & Gerry Street beginning at 7:00 p.m.

MAYOR CLAY'S STATEMENT ON GARY'S 1ST TRADE MISSION TO CHINA
PRESS STATEMENT
Fellow Citizens, Friends of Gary and Members of the Media and Business Community:
First, allow me to thank all who prayed for our delegation during the tragic earthquake in China, and to say how good it is to be back in the United States in general and in the great City of Gary in particular. I truly have a greater appreciation for the old adage "there is no place like home". After traveling across the globe on behalf of the City and people of Gary, I can proudly say there is no place like Gary Indiana.
