GARY MAYOR’S ORGANIZATION ON DISABILITIES PRESENTS
FIRST ANNUAL TOTAL HEALTH FAIR

Gary, Indiana - Mayor Rudolph Clay and the Gary Mayor’s Organization on Disabilities (Gary MOD), along with the Gary Human Relations Commission, will present its first annual Total Fitness Fair: Strategies for Health, Wealth, and Employment, on Friday, October 2, 2009. The Fitness Fair will be held at the Genesis Convention Center, One Genesis Center Plaza, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The purpose of this event is to provide residents of Northwest Indiana with access to invaluable information, services, and resources, free of charge.

GARY REMEMBERS THE "911" ATTACKS

Gary, Indiana - The City of Gary will remember the victims of the "911" 2001 attacks on the United States, Friday, September 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.

The commemoration event on the eighth anniversary of the attacks will be held on the front steps of City Hall, 401 Broadway.

The public is invited.
