DISABILITIES COMMUNITY FORUM

CITY PLANS "911" COMMEMORATION
Gary, Indiana - Mayor Rudy Clay, City of Gary, and the Gary Common Council will commemorate the 9th year anniversary of the "911" tragedy in New York on Friday, September 10, 2010. This memorial tribute will take place on the steps of City Hall, 401 Broadway, beginning at 10 a.m.

GARY YOUTH SERVICES BUREAU ANNOUNCES
AFTER SCHOOL YOUTH PROGRAM
Gary, Indiana - The City of Gary, Youth Services Bureau, announces the opening of its "Extended Day After School Program." This FREE program will operate Monday through Thursday, 2:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., beginning Monday, September 20, 2010. Program sites include Brunswick and Marquette Elementary Schools.

MUNICIPAL OFFICES TO CLOSE IN OBSERVANCE OF LABOR DAY
Gary, Indiana - All City of Gary Municipal Offices will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2010, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
Regular working hours will resume on Tuesday, September 7.

GARY STORM WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT (GSWMD) HOSTS ITS
CLEAN WATER CELEBRATION
Gary, Indiana - The Gary Storm Water Management District (GSWMD), with support from the Gary Parks Department, the Department of Environmental Affairs, and various clean water partners, will host its 6th annual Clean Water Celebration at Marquette Park on the Lagoon, Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The event is in observance of Lake Michigan Coast Week.
