INVITIATION TO RECEIVE OFFERS ON REAL ESTATE
NOTICE TO BIDDERS NO. 1-2011
Notice is hereby give that pursuant to Ind. Code 36-1-11-4, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Gary, as the designated disposing agent for properties owned by the City of Gary, will receive and consider written offers for the purchase of certain improved and unimproved parcels of real estate in the City of Gary, Indiana, hereinafter described, subject to the conditions of sale herein after set forth. If a bidder desires to bid on more than one tract, each bid must be submitted separately.
The sale is subject to the following terms and conditions:
Written, sealed bids will be received beginning on the 4th day of April, 2011, at the offices of the City of Gary, Department of Redevelopment, 839 Broadway, Suite S200, Gary, Indiana, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 5 P.M. The bidder must specify the proposed use of the property in his bid. The property must be utilized for the purpose (s) stated in the bidder's bid to purchase the property. Any use changes proposed within one year of purchase must be approved by the Board of Public Works and Safety.
The sale will continue for a period ending on the 15th day of April, 2011. Bids submitted by mail must be postmarked no later than April 15th, 2011.
